Part 1 in my Sleepy Sam series. This was really the picture that started the whole thing, because it happens to me all the f'ing time. I'll be laying in bed all comfy like, and even with my eyes closed, it's like BOOM. And I open them reluctantly, because there's no point in trying to avoid it. Low and behold, ond of the blinds has gotten stuck for one reason or another. And it just happens to be in the exact spot that sunlight nails you right in the face. Man I hate that.

I guess I'm going to comment on your artwork now that I enjoy it. :XD: I f'ing hate that. I'll toss and turn all night long, and then FINALLY I'll close my eyes, only to get hit directly with a ray of sunlight. Then I get pissed and start reaching for my alarm clock to throw it at the wall. :XD: Sleepy Sam kind of looks like Flint Lockwood in this drawing. Awesome job! ^^b

I love how you drew the blankets, you nailed the glow around the window, and the dust in the beam of light looks great. Burton-esque and yet with more popular appeal. :+fav:
